Once this is done, the equipment that are used in the Organization can be added. If any equipment defect or any malfunctioning occurs, they can be reported immediately by creating a Maintenance Requests. By this, the maintenance team can scan or check equipment wise also.<\/p>\n<h3>Maintenance Requests<\/h3>\n<p>Maintenance requests are created when there is any defect in the equipment that is being used by the <a href=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/odoo\/product\/modules\/employee-management\/\">Employees<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While creating a maintenance request, the main highlight is that, the request can be differentiated if it is a Preventive or a Corrective request.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preventive maintenance<\/strong> is done before the equipment meets a failure, like, servicing the equipment on regular intervals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Corrective maintenance<\/strong> is the support done on equipment upon its failure.<\/p>\n<p>To create a Maintenance request, update the following data,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Team &#8211; select a respective maintenance team<\/li>\n<li>Scheduled date &#8211; date in which maintenance has to be completed<\/li>\n<li>Priority &#8211; priority of the request<\/li>\n<li>Internal note &#8211; additional information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1568 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2019\/05\/Odoo_Maintenance_Module_img7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1368\" height=\"532\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2019\/05\/Odoo_Maintenance_Module_img7.png 1368w, https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2019\/05\/Odoo_Maintenance_Module_img7-300x117.png 300w, https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2019\/05\/Odoo_Maintenance_Module_img7-1024x398.png 1024w, https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2019\/05\/Odoo_Maintenance_Module_img7-768x299.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1368px) 100vw, 1368px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The stages of the request can be updated by the maintenance team,which are,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New Request<\/li>\n<li>In Progress<\/li>\n<li>Repaired<\/li>\n<li>Scrap<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These stages can be maintained in a pipeline view.<\/p>\n<p>Here, the Closed date field will be automatically updated when the request reaches the \u2018Repaired \u2018stage.<\/p>\n<h3>Maintenance Calendar<\/h3>\n<p>The requests that are created by the Employees,can be viewed in a calendar format.
