Steps to authenticate the user to provide access in Salesforce to access SharePoint files

  1. <\/a>The user must be authenticated to schedule the apex class (ScheduledFetchSharepointMetaInfo) and also to view the SharePoint files under the tab chatter. Below are the steps to authenticate the user.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Click my settings (available in under the logged in user name, top right side).<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. In personal-> click \u201cMy External Authentication Settings\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Click new button and it will display the screen as shown below<\/span>\"\"<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Fill the below mandatory fields<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      • External Data Source ID – select the external data source which was created previously for SharePoint connector.<\/li>\n
      • Select external data source id as \u201cSharePoint Data Source\u201d which was already configured.<\/li>\n
      • User \u2013 click the lookup icon and select the user to provide access to the external data source.<\/li>\n
      • Authentication Provider \u2013 Click the lookup icon and select the auth provider which was created previously for SharePoint connector<\/li>\n
      • Note: Select authentication provider as \u201cSharepointOAuth\u201d which was already configured.<\/li>\n
      • Start Authentication Flow on Save \u2013 tick this checkbox.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        1. Click Save.<\/li>\n
        2. After click the Save button it will navigate to the SharePoint site. Input the login credentials and logged in to the SharePoint site. It will display the below screen\"\"<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. Click Trust It, it will navigate to the Salesforce and display the screen as shown below\"\"<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. Click Allow, then it will display the screen as shown below.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
