{"id":635,"date":"2023-01-17T11:58:51","date_gmt":"2023-01-17T11:58:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jaldi.store\/?p=635"},"modified":"2026-03-03T10:08:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T10:08:11","slug":"product-update-menu-in-retail-pos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/blogs\/product-update-menu-in-retail-pos\/","title":{"rendered":"Product Update menu in retail POS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Product Update menu is used to update the application in to the latest version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Business rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If any changes or any update or any new feature is added in the application, that will be updated through this screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The latest changes will be downloaded and updated here in this screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Until customer update the product, the latest releases should not be updated to the application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There should be the menu called product update for user to update application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In product update screen, user will download the new release detail file and then run that file to update the application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The product update should be done on non billing hours or when sales is closed to prevent customer loss if anything happened due to new update.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The system should take backup of the current stock before product update.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Product Update menu is used to update the application in to the latest version.
