How to Configure Attachment in iDempiere for Retail
The Attachment window stores files linked to business records. Retail users attach invoices, images, ZIP files, and supporting documents to requests and transactions, improving document tracking and audit readiness.
Process Flow

Business Rules
- Attachments are linked to a table and record.
- Only active records should be maintained.
- Multiple files can exist in one attachment.
- Organization controls attachment ownership.
- Text Message stores additional notes.
Prerequisites
- Tenant configured.
- Organization configured.
- Target record available.
- User has attachment permission.

Step 1: Create Attachment
Create a new attachment record.
