Setting up a system where an OTP (One-Time Password)<\/strong> is sent to the customer\u2019s registered mobile number<\/strong> when they try to redeem loyalty or reward points<\/strong>, to verify their identity and prevent misuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Enable OTP verification for points redemption<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Configure the OTP length and minutes in the branch screen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Pre-Requisite Activities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Customer\u2019s mobile number must be registered and valid<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • SMS gateway\/API<\/strong> must be integrated and active<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Loyalty points program should be active for the customer<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • System role must have permission to redeem points with OTP<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Business Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        • OTP must be sent only to the registered mobile number<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • OTP should be time-limited<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Redemption proceeds only if OTP is correct and verified<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • All OTP events (sent, verified, failed) should be logged for audit<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • If no mobile number exists, redemption is not allowed<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • OTP must be random and secure<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Step 1 :<\/strong> Select \u2018branch’ <\/strong>in menu -> Branch Configuration-> Branch. or Search branch<\/strong> on Lookup search box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
