SMS Setup<\/strong> refers to configuring the system to send automated SMS notifications (like order confirmations, OTPs, alerts, etc.) to customers or users based on specific triggers or actions.p<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What User Can Do<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Configure SMS gateway (API URL, credentials)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Set message templates for various events (billing, OTP, delivery)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Enable or disable SMS alerts for specific modules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Pre-Requisite Activities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Register with an approved SMS gateway provider<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Obtain SMS API credentials and sender ID<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Finalize SMS content as per business communication needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Ensure customer mobile numbers are properly captured and valid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Business Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        • SMS can only be sent if the mobile number is valid and not blank<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • OTP messages must be time-bound and limited per session<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Templates must not exceed character limits (160 chars for 1 SMS)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • SMS logs should be maintained for audit and troubleshooting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Step 1 : <\/strong><\/strong>Select \u2018Branch<\/strong>\u2019<\/strong> in Menu Branch Configuration -> Branch<\/strong> <\/strong>or Search Branch<\/strong> <\/strong>in Lookup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • OTP Length<\/strong> –<\/strong> Enter OTP legth, based on OTP digits will receive as SMS<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • OTP Validity Minutes – <\/strong>Based on OTP will validate<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Proxy Host – <\/strong>Through the proxy host SMS will sent<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Proxy Port – <\/strong>Enter Proxy Host Port Number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
