A Role<\/strong> defines what a user can see and do in the system. It controls access to menus, actions, and data based on job responsibility (e.g., cashier, manager, admin).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What User Can Do<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • Create and assign roles to users<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Define access rights (view, edit, delete, approve)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Limit access to specific modules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Pre-Requisite Activities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      • User master must be created<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Decide responsibilities per department<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Finalize which modules\/functions each role should access<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Approve hierarchy (if applicable) must be planned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Business Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        • A user must be assigned at least one role to access the system<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Roles should follow organizational hierarchy<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Sensitive functions (e.g., price change, cancel invoice) must be restricted<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Roles should be audited regularly to avoid misuse<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Only authorized admins can create or modify roles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Step 1 : <\/strong>Select \u2018Role<\/strong>\u2019 in Menu -> Administration<\/strong> > General rules<\/strong> > Security<\/strong> > Role<\/strong> or Search Role<\/strong> in Lookup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Display Drafted records<\/strong> : Click this checkbox to display the drafted document (Showing all transactions) allowed for this role, if the checkbox is unchecked, it will cause the function to stop working .<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • IsEdit Customer Detail<\/strong> : Click this checkbox to edit the customer details on the customer screen for this role, if the checkbox is unchecked, it will cause the function to stop working.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Is refund<\/strong> : Click this checkbox to enable the refund function in POS for this role, if the checkbox is unchecked, it will cause the function to stop working.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • GKM Access<\/strong> : Click this checkbox to enable GKM access for this role, if the checkbox is unchecked, it will cause the function to stop working.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Is Exchange<\/strong> : Click this checkbox to enable the exchange function on the POS screen for this role, If the checkbox is unchecked, it will cause the function to stop working.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Is Bill cancel<\/strong> : Click this checkbox to enable the Bill Cancel function on the POS screen for this role, If the checkbox is unchecked, it will cause the function to stop working.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Step 4 :<\/strong> Create a new role to grant access by using the checkbox and selection option,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • Default Warehouse<\/strong> : Select the default warehouse; this role is only for logging in to the default warehouse, Do not select the default warehouse; this role can log in to any warehouse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Is WH Selection<\/strong> : Click the checkbox to enable the selected warehouse option, If the checkbox is unchecked, the selection option will not be enabled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
