Bill Hold<\/strong> allows a cashier to temporarily pause a bill without cancelling it. Bill Retrieve<\/strong> enables the cashier to resume the held bill later and complete the transaction<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What User Can Do<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Hold a bill<\/strong> at any time during billing<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Retrieve a previously held bill<\/strong> to continue billing and complete the payment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Print the bill<\/strong> after retrieving it, just like a normal transaction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Pre-Requisite Activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • User must be logged into the POS with appropriate billing permissions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Bill must be in progress to use the Hold<\/strong> function.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • System configuration must allow “Hold\/Retrieve” feature in POS settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Business Rules<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • Only unsaved bills can be held.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Each held bill must be assigned a unique Hold ID<\/strong> or Reference Number<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Retrieval can only be done by the same user or based on store configuration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Bills held beyond a certain time (e.g., end of the day) may be auto-cancelled based on settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • The number of bills that can be held simultaneously may be limited by system rules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          User Interface<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Step 1 : <\/strong>Select \u2018POS\u2019<\/strong> in Menu<\/strong> -> POS Management<\/strong> -> POS<\/strong> or Search POS<\/strong> in Lookup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 6 : <\/strong>User can able to select the hold orders by using document search option or with help of up\/down keys and click enter<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 8 : <\/strong>Clear all hold orders using ‘Alt + C’ in Retrieve screen<\/p>\n\n\n\n
