Credit Orders (F8)<\/strong> refers to billing a customer on credit<\/strong> instead of receiving immediate payment. It allows trusted customers (e.g., corporate clients, partners) to purchase goods\/services and pay later<\/strong> as per agreed terms. By pressing F8<\/strong> in the POS system, the bill is marked as a credit bill<\/strong> instead of a cash\/online payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What User Can Do<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • Press F8<\/strong> in the billing screen to mark the transaction as a Credit Order<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Select or enter a credit customer<\/strong> from the master<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Add due date<\/strong> and credit terms<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Pre-Requisite Activities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Customer should be registered in Credit Customer Master<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Assign credit limits<\/strong> and due dates per customer<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Enable F8 functionality<\/strong> in POS configuration<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Assign user permissions<\/strong> for issuing credit bills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Business Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • Credit billing allowed only for approved customers<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Credit bill cannot be settled with discount<\/strong> unless authorized<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Total credit value must not exceed the credit limit<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Each credit bill must be linked to a customer account<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • System must track pending balances<\/strong> and alert if overdue<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Staff cannot use F8 unless granted proper access rights<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          User Interface<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Step 1 : <\/strong>Select \u2018POS\u2019<\/strong> in Menu<\/strong> -> POS Management<\/strong> -> POS<\/strong> or Search POS<\/strong> in Lookup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 2 : <\/strong>Select Credit Order(F8) option and select the customer (GST customer\/Non GST customer)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 3 : <\/strong>The credit order function key will be highlighted and selected customer details will show<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 4 : <\/strong>Scan the products and click F4, if credit sale discount? option not selected in branch configuration. Invoice will generate automatically<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 5 : <\/strong>if credit sale discount? option selected in branch configuration. Payment screen will open, press ‘Alt+F4’ order complete<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 6 :<\/strong> If the customer does not have enough credit limit, system should not allow to scan the products<\/p>\n\n\n\n
