Bulk Free Item Promotion allows businesses to offer free products<\/strong> when customers purchase a certain quantity or value<\/strong>. Using the Promotion Setup<\/strong> screen, such rules can be defined system-wide and applied automatically during billing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Create the promotion<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Select Promotion mode and Promotion Type<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Set date range of promotion<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Apply the promotion<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Start the promotions<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Stop the promotion (Manual or automatic)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      PRE-REQUISITE ACTIVITIES<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      • The Product Master<\/strong> has both the main and free items active<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Stock is available in Warehouse\/Store<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • UOM and pricing<\/strong> are configured<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • User has promotion setup access rights<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • No overlapping promotions exist for the same item<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        BUSINESS RULES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • Promotion applies only if slab conditions<\/strong> are fulfilled<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • System checks stock availability<\/strong> of the free item before applying<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Only one slab<\/strong> (highest matching) is applied per bill<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Free items<\/strong> should not be counted as sales quantity<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Returns<\/strong> will reverse the associated free items<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Cannot mix with other discount or free item promotions<\/strong> for same product<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Audit trail of who created\/edited the promotion<\/strong> is logged<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          USER INTERFACE <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Step 1 : <\/strong>Select \u2018Promotion setup\u2019<\/strong> in Menu<\/strong> -> Sales Management<\/strong> -> Promotion setup<\/strong> or Search Promotion setup<\/strong> in Lookup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
