Goods received note (GRN), is a two-way document that acknowledges the delivery of goods by a supplier and their receipt by the customer.Goods received note confirms that an order has been delivered and received and it\u2019s satisfactory to all the parties involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Pre-Requisite Activities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Enable non-PO GRN in system settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Ensure product master is marked as IMEI\/Serial controlled<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Set up vendor master and tax category<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Assign user rights for GRN creation and serial tracking<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Define formats for serial\/IMEI entry (manual or scan)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Business Rules<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • Only authorized users can create GRNs without PO<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Each unit must have a unique IMEI\/Serial Number<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Duplicate IMEI\/Serial entries must be restricted<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Product category must be eligible for IMEI tracking<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • GRN must be approved before stock becomes available<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          User Interface<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          Step 1 : <\/strong>Select \u2018GRN Entry\u2019<\/strong> in Menu<\/strong> -> Logistics Management<\/strong> -> GRN Entry<\/strong> or Search GRN Entry<\/strong> in Lookup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 2 :<\/strong> Click the \u2018New Record\u2019 button to create a new Grn Entry<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 3 : <\/strong>Select vendor in the \u2018Vendor\u2019 field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 4 : <\/strong>In that “Business Partner Info” User need to select the Vendor Name and Click “OK”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 5 :<\/strong> Once Vendor Name added in GRN Entry Tab, User Need to enter the \u2018Bill No\u2019 and ‘Bill Date’ for that particular Invoice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 6 :<\/strong> Click the “Save” button to save the GRN Document and Generated Doc No.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 7 :<\/strong> Click line tab to GRN line page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 8 :<\/strong> User Need to click “New” Button for create New Record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 9 :<\/strong> User can select the product in the \u2018Product\u2019 field by clicking the icon in the right side of the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 10 :<\/strong> User Need to select the IMEI Product in “Product Info” Tab. Products will be displayed based on the Vendor. Once user select the IMEI product, click OK to continue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 15 :<\/strong> To create new record,adding serial no \/imei in product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            User need to fill the \u2018TotAmt Pay\u2019 as \u2018Grand Total\u2019 value, \u2018BC Total\u2019 as above \u2018BC Total\u2019 value, \u2018Tax Tot\u2019 as above \u2018Tax Tot\u2019 value and \u2018L.Cost Total\u2019 as above \u2018L.Cost Total\u2019 value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
