Settlement Print<\/strong> means printing a summary report<\/strong> of all transactions (sales, payments, refunds) that were settled at the end of a shift or day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What User Can Do<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • Generate a settlement print after completing the settlement process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Print or reprint the settlement summary report for a shift, terminal, or day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Review transaction totals in the printout (sales, refunds, payment types, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Use the printout for reconciling cash or submitting end-of-day reports to accounting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      • Complete the Settlement Process<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Reconcile Payment Totals<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Close the Shift or Terminal<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Get Manager Approval <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Business Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        • A settlement print can only be generated after the settlement process is successfully complete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • The settlement print must include a summary of all settled transactions, including sales, refunds, and payment types.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Only authorized users (e.g., cashier, supervisor) can print or reprint a settlement report.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • If a printer is unavailable, the system must offer an option to save or export the report.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Reprints of the settlement report must be logged with user ID and timestamp for audit purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
