Purchase Order (PO)<\/strong> Void or Reversing<\/strong> means cancelling a PO that was created but is no longer needed or correcting a PO that was entered with errors. This prevents it from being processed further in procurement or finance.ods receipt or an invoice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Void a PO before it is approved or processed<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Add remarks for cancellation or reversal<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • View PO status as \u201cVoided\u201d or \u201cReversed\u201d in reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Pre-Requisite Activities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      • Ensure the PO is not already partially or fully received (GRN)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • User must have rights to cancel or reverse a PO<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Linked approvals or workflows should be considered<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Business Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        • Only users with specific roles can void or reverse POs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • PO cannot be voided after full receipt and invoicing<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • All actions must be logged with a timestamp and reason<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Reversal should reflect in PO and inventory records<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Approval may be required for reversal in some cases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
