The promotion is turned off and cannot be used or applied<\/strong> at the point of sale.
It will not give any discount<\/strong>, will not appear on the POS screen<\/strong>, and is not available<\/strong> to customers or staff during sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What User Can Do<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • See that the promotion is inactive<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Proceed with normal sales<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Inform the customer<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Check for other valid promotions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Pre-Requisite Activities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      • For POS Promotion Activation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • For Invoice Reversal\/Void<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Business R<\/strong>ules<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • A promotion marked as inactive<\/strong> must not be available or visible at the POS terminal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • The POS system must not apply<\/strong> any discount or benefit from an inactive promotion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Only authorized users (e.g. Marketing Manager, Admin) can set a promotion to inactive status.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Once a promotion expires, it must automatically change to inactive<\/strong> status in the system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Attempting to apply an inactive promotion must trigger a clear message (e.g., \u201cPromotion is inactive\u201d).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
