The Invoice Not Realized Gain\/Loss Report identifies foreign currency invoices that are not fully paid and calculates unrealized exchange gains or losses using the selected exchange rate. It compares the original accounting amount with the revalued amount and helps finance users evaluate currency fluctuations on outstanding AR and AP invoices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report can also generate a GL Journal for the calculated unrealized gain or loss. It is mainly used during financial period-end currency revaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Business Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Accounting Schema is mandatory.
\u2022 Only posted unpaid invoices are processed.
\u2022 Supports AP, AR, or both.
\u2022 Revaluation Date determines the exchange rate.
\u2022 Can process all currencies or one currency.
\u2022 Fully paid invoices are excluded.
\u2022 Partial invoices are revalued only for the open amount.
\u2022 Calculates unrealized gain\/loss.
\u2022 Can automatically create a GL Journal.
\u2022 Supports month-end\/year-end financial closing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Report Output<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Displays outstanding foreign currency invoices, open amount, accounting balance, revalued balance, unrealized gain\/loss, and exchange-rate impact. If enabled, the system creates a GL Journal for the calculated unrealized gain or loss. The report supports reconciliation and financial closing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
