The Import Business Partner<\/strong> process is used to validate the records available in the Import Business Partner<\/strong> staging table and import the valid records into the Business Partner<\/strong> master window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The records are loaded into the staging table through the Import CSV Process<\/strong>. After the Import Business Partner process completes successfully, the imported records become available in the Business Partner window for normal business use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Business Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  • Records must first be loaded into the Import Business Partner<\/strong> staging table using the Import CSV Process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Only records that pass validation are imported into the Business Partner master.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The Tenant<\/strong> parameter is mandatory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The Only Validate Data<\/strong> option validates the records without importing them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The Delete Old Imported Records<\/strong> option removes previously imported staging records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Successfully imported records are marked as Imported = Yes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Records with validation errors remain in the staging table with an Import Error Message<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Existing Business Partners are updated only when the import data matches the required keys.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • New Business Partners are created only after successful validation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • After successful import, the Business Partner records are available in the Business Partner<\/strong> window.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      The Import CSV Process window allows users to select an Import Template, choose the CSV file, select the Import Mode, and execute the import.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Step 1: Verify Imported Records<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      After the Import CSV Process is completed, open the Import Business Partner<\/strong> window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Verify that the imported records are available and that Imported<\/strong> is unchecked<\/strong>. If any validation issues exist, they will be displayed in the Import Error Message<\/strong> field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Select Run as Job<\/strong> if the process should execute in the background.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
