GRN with PO refers to the process of receiving goods<\/strong> from a vendor based on an existing Purchase Order<\/strong>. It helps verify that the delivered items match the order in terms of quantity, quality, and price<\/strong>, ensuring accurate stock and financial records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Create GRN<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Edit GRN<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Approve GRN<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Prerequisite<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Approved Purchase Order must be available<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Vendor, item, and tax master must be properly configured<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • PO should not be fully received or closed<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • GRN numbering series must be defined<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • User must have GRN creation rights<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Business Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • GRN must be linked to a valid and open PO<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Received quantity should not exceed PO quantity (unless over-receipt is allowed)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • PO cannot be edited after GRN is created<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Price and tax details should match PO unless overridden with approval<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • GRN should be approved to make stock available<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Partial receipts must be tracked until full PO is received<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          User Interface<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Select \u2018GRN Entry\u2019<\/strong> in Menu<\/strong> -> Logistics Management<\/strong> -> GRN Entry<\/strong> or Search GRN Entry<\/strong> in Lookup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Click the \u2018New Record\u2019 button to create a new GRN Entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Select vendor in the \u2018Vendor\u2019 field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Enter \u2018Bill No\u2019 and \u2018Bill Date\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Once Save the document, Document No will be generate and GST Number will be appear in the respective field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Switch to \u2018GRN Line\u2019 tab, the selected Product will will appear in GRN Line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Switch to \u2018GRN Entry\u2019 tab and fill the \u2018TotAmt Pay\u2019 as \u2018Grand Total\u2019 value, \u2018BC Total\u2019 as above \u2018BC Total\u2019 value, \u2018Tax Tot\u2019 as above \u2018Tax Tot\u2019 value and \u2018L.Cost Total\u2019 as above \u2018L.Cost Total\u2019 value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
