Before we creating the GRN entry against their invoice, the vendor &#8220;Murugan enterprises&#8221; should be created in vendor master. So that a GRN user can select the created vendor &#8220;Murugan enterprises&#8221; to complete the GRN entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Created vendor names will be selected during the GRN entry, purchase order and purchase return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow the below steps to create a new vendor in vendor master,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to create a new Vendor in vendor master ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to application path &#8211; Masters &gt; Business Partner Rules &gt; Vendor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on &#8220;Vendor&#8221; menu to open vendor master screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/v1-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4469\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In vendor screen, Click on &#8220;New&#8221; function key to create a new vendor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/v2-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4470\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Under Vendor tab, enter the following details to create a vendor,\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Name &#8211; Enter vendor name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vendor type &#8211; Registered \/ Unregistered (in GST)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GST number &#8211; Enter GST number only for Registered vendors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can also enter other payment details like credit limit and etc under vendor tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the required data were filled then click on &#8220;save&#8221; function key to save the data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/v3-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4471\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Under bank account tab, enter the inputs in following fields,\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bank code <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Account name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bank branch code<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Account No<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bank account type.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can enter multiple bank account details, After saving existing data, press new and start to enter another bank account details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/v4-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4472\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Then move to Location tab and enter following details,\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Location<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Phone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fax<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2nd phone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ISDN<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only Address field is mandatory other fields are optional to fill.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can save multiple location for single vendor. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/v5-1024x614.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4473\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Under Contact (user) tab, enter the following details,\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contact person (mandatory)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email Address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Location <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Phone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can also enter other available input fields. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/v6-1024x614.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4474\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Under vendor brand tab, Select the Brand, Margin level and enter margin %.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/v7-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4475\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to edit existing vendor details ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to vendor master screen and click on the &#8220;lookup\/ search&#8221; function key to search the specific vendor which you need to edit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/v8-1-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4495\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In lookup record screen, enter data to be searched in available input fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then click on &#8220;tick&#8221; function key.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/v10-1024x617.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4478\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to deactivate existing vendor ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to vendor master screen and open specific vendor name which you want to deactivate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove &#8220;tick&#8221;
