{"id":9046,"date":"2025-06-04T13:22:08","date_gmt":"2025-06-04T13:22:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/?p=9046"},"modified":"2026-07-07T08:03:55","modified_gmt":"2026-07-07T08:03:55","slug":"physical-inventory-in-jaldi-superstore-pos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/physical-inventory-in-jaldi-superstore-pos\/","title":{"rendered":"Physical Inventory in iDempiere Retail Superstore POS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Physical inventory is the screen which is used for user to update or adjust the system&#8217;s current stock of inventory products to manage the same current physical stock between system and store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following transactions can be done in this menu,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stock-Update<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Batch-Adjustment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stock-Adjustment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the use of Stock-update feature and make entry ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using this feature, user could update the existing stock of the item at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow the below displaying steps to complete stock-update entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open physical inventory menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/p1-1-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5053\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/p2-1-1024x614.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5054\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Under &#8220;Inventory count&#8221; tab, in document type field select &#8220;Stock Update&#8221; option from the drop down list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then press &#8220;Save&#8221; function key to save data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/1_p3-1-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5056\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open other screen tab, in product field Scan the product or press &#8220;Search&#8221; icon to open product info screen where you can search specific product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/1_p4-1-1024x616.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5057\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In product info screen, we can find the multiple available filter option which will help you to search specific product.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After filter, system will show the list of product matched with searched filter, select specific product and press &#8220;Ctrl+Enter&#8221; or click on &#8220;Green tick&#8221; mark to load the product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/p5-1-1024x642.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5058\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once the selected product is loaded in screen, You can find the current stock of the product from &#8220;Quantity Book&#8221; field. Follow the instruction given in pictures to know how to make batch-adjustment entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose &#8216;batch-adjustment&#8217; option from drop down. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/p12-1-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5065\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to next tab and load the specific product in product field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can find the system&#8217;s current stock in &#8220;Quantity book&#8221; field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/p13-1-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5066\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you want to add stock in selected batch, then enter the qty in &#8220;Qty addition&#8221; input field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then load the same product&#8217;s another batch and enter same qty in &#8220;Qty deduction field&#8221;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qty deducted in the batch and Qty added in the batch should be equal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/1_p14-1-1024x614.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5067\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Then go to &#8220;Inventory Count&#8221; tab and complete the document.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/p15-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5068\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stock-Adjustment entry<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is the process where user add or deducts item&#8217;s stock directly.
