The created manufacturer will be mapped to the respective products during the product creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lets take a real time scenario, The &#8220;Britannia Industries Limited&#8221; is the manufacturing company of the product biscuits, cheese, tea cakes and etc. You can create all the mentioned products and map the respective manufacturer. So we can also track the sales and inventory by manufacturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding manufacturer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to application path, Masters &gt; Partner Management &gt; Business Partner Rules &gt; Manufacturer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open Manufacturer menu by clicking on that.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/m1-1024x616.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5215\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Press &#8220;New&#8221; function key.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press &#8220;Grid Toggle&#8221; to go detailed view from list view.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/m2-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5216\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To create a new manufacturer, enter the following input details\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manufacturer Code &#8211; Enter Manufacturer code<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Name &#8211; Enter Manufacturer name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Address &#8211; Enter manufacturer address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email &#8211; Enter Manufacturer email address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Phone &#8211; Enter Manufacturer Phone number<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the required details are updated, press &#8220;Save&#8221; function key to save the Manufacturer details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/m3-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5217\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once the manufacturer is created we can see the created manufacturer data in manufacturer list like below shown image.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/m4-1024x616.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5218\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>While creating a new product, we can select the created manufacturer in the field &#8220;MFG&#8221; which is marked in below image.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/m9-1024x616.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5223\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Edit or Deactivate created Manufacturer ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Manufacturer master screen and click on &#8220;Search&#8221; function key which is marked in below image to open look up screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/m5-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5219\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/m6-1024x617.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5220\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To edit, In selected Manufacturer details, update the new details over the existing details of manufacturer and press &#8220;Save&#8221; function key.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/m7-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5221\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To deactivate the manufacturer, remove check box from the field &#8220;Active&#8221; which is marked in below image.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenthplanet.in\/idempiere\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2025\/06\/m8-1024x615.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5222\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manufacturer master is the master screen where user can create and manage the manufacturer of their inventory products.
