    • Enter or update Customer GST number<\/strong> in the Customer Master<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ensure “GST Bill Required”<\/strong> is enabled for that customer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Pre-Requisite Activities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      • Customer must have a valid GST number<\/strong> entered in the system<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Product must have HSN<\/strong> and tax rate defined<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Company GST setup must be completed<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Invoice template should be GST-enabled<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Business Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        • GST invoice is generated only if Customer has GSTIN<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Tax calculation should follow place of supply rules<\/strong>\n

          • CGST\/SGST for intra-state<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • IGST for inter-state<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • GSTIN should be validated<\/strong> (format check or API)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Once invoice is generated, tax values cannot be edited<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • GST bills must be serially numbered<\/strong> and audit-ready<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Non-GST customers should get non-GST (retail) bills<\/strong> only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
