Step 1: Access the Products Menu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in to your backend with Manager privileges<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Navigate to Inventory<\/strong> \u2192 Products<\/strong> \u2192 Product Master<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2: Create a New Product<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Click the Create<\/strong> button<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Fill in the basic information:\n
        \n
      • Product Name<\/strong>: Enter the name of your product<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • MRP:<\/strong> Enter MRP value<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Category<\/strong>: Select or create a product category<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Barcode<\/strong>: Enter EAN Code or Barcode of the product<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • HSN Code:<\/strong> Harmonized System of Nomenclature: A unique code that is globally accepted to identify the products and the rate of tax<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Brand:<\/strong> Assign brand details<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Tracking:<\/strong> Set as By Lots<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click the Purchase<\/strong>tab<\/strong>:\n

        • \u200b<\/em>\u200bClick \u200b<\/em>Add a Line.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Select the Vendor<\/strong> (Supplier name).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Enter the Price<\/strong> – This is your Basic cost.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • And, Click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Step 3: Configure Product Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          1. General Information<\/strong> tab:\n
              \n
            • Internal Reference<\/strong>: Unique SKU or product code<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • UOM<\/strong>: Set Unit of measure as Pcs or Units<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • POS Category: <\/strong>Set POS Category specific to the product category\u200b<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Purchase<\/strong> tab:\n

              • Vendor<\/strong>: Add preferred suppliers<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Purchase Price<\/strong>: Default buying price from vendor<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Lead Time<\/strong>: Supplier delivery time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                Step 4: Save the Product<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                1. Click Save<\/strong> to create the product<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                2. For storable products, you may need to:\n
                    \n
                  • Create initial inventory (Update Quantity)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Set reordering rules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
