Step 1 : Create or Configure a POS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to Point of Sale<\/strong> from the main dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click\u00a0Point of Sale\u00a0\u2192\u00a0Configuration\u00a0\u2192 Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click Create<\/strong> a New Shop or choose an existing one.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Key Fields:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Point of Sale Name<\/strong>: Give a name (e.g., \u201cTerminal 1\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Operation Type<\/strong>: Link to a Sales Operation (usually \u201cPOS Orders\u201d).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Company<\/strong>: Ensure it’s assigned correctly if you use multi-company setup.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Step 2 : Set POS Configuration Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      1. Pricing<\/strong>:\u200b\n
          \n
        • Choose a Pricelist<\/strong> for product pricing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Enable multi-pricelist<\/strong> if needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Payment Methods<\/strong>: Select or create available payment options (Cash, Card, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Inventory Settings<\/strong>:\n

          • Select a stock location where POS will take inventory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Choose delivery policies and stock update behaviour.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Accounting<\/strong>: Set up taxes, and invoice options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Dynamic Tax<\/strong> :\u00a0Enable the ability to apply multiple taxes<\/strong> dynamically per product or order directly from the POS terminal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Multi Barcode<\/strong> :\u00a0Different packaging types have unique barcodes for the same item.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • POS terminal by selecting a Terminal Type<\/strong>:\n

            • Bill Only<\/strong> \u2013 Allows access only to billing (order taking) without payment functionality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Pay Only<\/strong> \u2013 Used to access bills created else where and handle payment processing only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Bill & Pay<\/strong> \u2013 Full access to both billing and payment features in one terminal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Step 3 : Configure Payment Methods<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

              • Go to Point of Sale \u2192 Configuration \u2192 Payment Methods<\/strong>\u200b<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Click Create<\/strong>\u200b<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Set up each method (e.g., Cash, Bank, Credit Card)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                Step 4 : Save the Configuration:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                • After setting everything as needed, click the \u201cSave\u201d button<\/strong> (top-left corner).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • This saves the configuration only for that specific POS terminal.<\/strong>\u200b<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                  • POS terminals are independently configurable<\/strong>. Each terminal has its own config record.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
