Sometimes, products from a single Purchase Order may arrive at different times. In such cases,
multiple GR Bills<\/strong> will be created to record each receipt. Additionally, if credit notes<\/strong> are applied to any GR Bill, this can also result in multiple GR Bills for the same Purchase Order..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create a new purchase order<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Go to the Purchase<\/strong> module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Click + New<\/strong> to create a new Purchase Order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Select the vendor<\/strong> and products<\/strong> from the respective fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Once the RFQ (Request for Quotation)<\/strong> is finalized, proceed to confirm<\/strong> and complete the Purchase Order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Create a new Good Receipt note(GRN)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    • Click the Receive products button to create a new GRN.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Enter the Inward Register Number(IRN)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Enter a quantity less than the total quantity in the PO.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Click validate, Backorder<\/strong> popup will occur<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Note: If the quantity received is less than the quantity ordered in the PO, a Backorder<\/strong> is created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Create a New GR Bill<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      • Click the Create GR Bill<\/strong> button to create a new GR Bill document for the received goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Enter the Bill Number, Bill Amount, Taxable Amount and Tax Amount.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • After Verifying the details, click confirm<\/strong> to the save the gr bill<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Another GRN and GR Bill for remaining quantity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Good Receipt (GRN)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        • Open the Same PO once again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Click the Receive quantity button to create another GRN for the remaining quantity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Enter the Inward Register Number <\/strong>(IRN).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Click Validate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          GR Bill<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          • Click the Create GR Bill<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Enter the Bill Number, Bill Amount, Taxable Amount and Tax Amount.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • After Verifying the details, click confirm<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
