In Goods Receipts (GR)<\/strong>, a vendor may provide free products to the store or customer. These free products are Storable products<\/strong> with a unit price of zero<\/strong> and a MRP of zero<\/strong>. Since the unit price is zero, these free products do not affect the total amount<\/strong> of the GR Bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to Purchase Order<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Open the Purhcase Module <\/strong>in the Dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Click the New<\/strong> button to create a new RFQ.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Purchase Order Process<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Vendor <\/strong>– > Select the Vendor from the Vendor field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Product<\/strong> -> Select the Product from the Product field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • After save the order, PO Reference id is automatically generted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Click the confirm order to place the purchase order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Add the Free product in GR<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Click the Receive product you will be automatically redirected to the GR<\/strong> page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Enter the Inward Register Number <\/strong>as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click Add Free Item<\/strong> to open the Add Free Item Pop-up screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • The Pop-up allows you to select and add free item to the GR.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        • Click create<\/strong> to add a free product in the GR.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • The MRP, SP and PO Quantity will also be displayed as 0.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Click the Validate button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Free Product are shown in the GR Bill<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          • Click GR Bill<\/strong> to be automatically redirected to the GR Bill Screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Enter the Vendor Bill Number<\/strong> in the Bill number field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Free product are displayed in the invoice lines field, the billed quantity<\/strong> will show the actual GR(Good Receipts) <\/strong>quantity received.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Enter the Bill amount, Taxable and tax amount<\/strong> in their respective field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Click Confirm<\/strong> the GR Bill.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Free Product Display in GR Bill print<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            Click the Actions-> Print-> Invoices<\/strong> to view the GR Bill print<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • Product\/Barcode<\/strong> \u2013 The product name is displayed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • HSN Code<\/strong> \u2013 The HSN code of the product is displayed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Quantity<\/strong> \u2013 Displays the quantity of the free product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
