Inventory changes<\/strong> are mainly used for to update multiple product records in bulk efficiently<\/strong>, maintain accurate and consistent product data, reduce manual editing time and errors and streamline inventory and product information management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accessing the Inventory Change Feature<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  • From the Main Menu<\/strong>, click the Inventory <\/strong>module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • In the Products<\/strong> Menu, Select the Product Master <\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Use checkboxes to select products<\/strong> you want to update.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Click the Inventory Change<\/strong> menu at the top.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • This action opens the inventory Change form<\/strong> for modifying product details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Update Can Be Purchased<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Select Yes or No in the Can Be Purchased<\/strong> dropdown to specify if the product is available for purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Select Yes<\/strong> if the product can be bought from suppliers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Select No<\/strong> if the product is not available for purchase.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Helps control which products are available for procurement. Ensures accurate inventory and purchasing management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Update Product Category<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Select the desired Product Category<\/strong> from the dropdown to update categories for selected products.
      Click Search More<\/strong> to view additional available categories. Use the search bar<\/strong> to quickly find specific categories if needed. Choose the appropriate category that fits the selected products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Update Product Brand<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Select the desired Product Brand<\/strong> from the dropdown to update brands for selected products. Click
      Search More<\/strong> to view additional available brands. Use the search bar<\/strong> to quickly find specific brands if needed. Choose the appropriate brand that fits the selected products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Note: The system throws an Invalid Operation<\/strong> warning when attempting to change the brand of products that already have existing transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Update Scheduled Days<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Select the desired Scheduled Days<\/strong> from the dropdown to update them for selected products. Ensure the scheduled days are correctly reflected in the product\u2019s MBQ section<\/strong> under \u201cScheduled Days (Delete Draft PO)\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Update Sales Classification<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Select the desired Sales Classification<\/strong> from the dropdown to update them for selected products.
      Ensure the Sales Classification are correctly reflected in the product\u2019s MBQ section<\/strong>
      under \u201cSales Classification\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Save the Inventory Changes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      You can update all the fields for selected products or change only specific fields. After making the modifications, click the Update button<\/strong> to save the change Ensure accuracy across your entire product database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
