The Reorder by Number of Days <\/strong>feature helps businesses maintain optimal stock levels by analysing product usage over a selected period and suggesting reorder qty. It calculates reorder quantities based on past sales or consumption data, ensuring your inventory always aligns with actual demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By using this feature, you can avoid stock shortages and reorder products at the right time to keep your operations running smoothly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start by Creating a New Purchase Order<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Click +New<\/strong> to create a new purchase order document. Select the vendor from the dropdown list. When you click Save<\/strong>, the PO document number is generated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click Search Products<\/strong>,the Select Products pop-up will appear. In the Ordering Method<\/strong> field, select Reorder by Number of Days using dropdown option. Now Date Range<\/strong> and Days No<\/strong>. fields will be displayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Date Range<\/strong> field, select the From Date and To Date. To Date must not be earlier than From Date. If not, system will display a validation \u201cTo Date should not be less than From Date.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specify the number of days the stock required in the Days No.<\/strong> field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suggested Quantity Calculation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Suggested Qty<\/strong> is calculated automatically. Formula:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suggested Qty = Days No. \u00d7 Avg Qty\nAvg Qty = Sold Qty \u00f7 Difference in Days\nDifference in Days = Current Date \u2212 First Movement Date<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
First Movement Date<\/strong> is the date when stock was first received. Sold Qty<\/strong> is the total quantity sold within the selected date range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalize the Purchase Order<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Click Copy Qty, <\/strong>the order qty<\/strong> will be filled automatically. Click Create Purchase Order Lines<\/strong>. Review product details carefully to ensure accuracy. Check quantity, total amount, and tax amount. Click Save<\/strong> to finalize and confirm<\/strong> the Purchase Order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
