Mandatory Fields for I<\/strong>nternal Stock Transfer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Transfer type <\/strong>is one of the mandatory fields used to specify the type of stock transfer (e.g., between branches or warehouses<\/strong>). After selecting the transfer type, the source and destination locations are set automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The source location<\/strong> refers to the place from which the stock is being transferred, and the destination location<\/strong> refers to the place to which the stock is being transferred. Another mandatory field is product category<\/strong>, which is used to choose the category of products being transferred. Multiple categories can be selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Fields for Internal Stock Transfer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Contact<\/strong> is a field used to select the vendor for the transfer, and the scheduled date<\/strong> is automatically set to the current date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Click Add a line<\/strong> Under the Operation Type.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Select a Product<\/strong> using the Product code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Select the specific<\/strong> lot<\/strong> for the product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Enter Transfer Quantity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Once choose the product and lot name, enter the transfer quantity. The total cost calculated based on the following formula<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Total Cost=Transfer Quantity * Cost<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
    Note: A validation error occur when the transfer quantity is not less than or equal<\/strong> to the on-hand quantity. If the product traceability is set to No tracking<\/strong>, the lot\/serial number will not be displayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    Once you click the Transfer <\/strong>button, the product will be transferred to the selected transfer type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Transfer stock to the Intransit<\/strong> location<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    After selecting the products, click the transfer button to move the stock from the source location to the intransit<\/strong> location. Once confirmed, the stock transfer will update the inventory levels to both the source and intransit<\/strong> locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
