Odoo makes it easy to capture these price adjustments directly in the bill. Recording the discount at the correct point keeps your product costs and inventory valuation consistent and reliable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Create a GR Bill in Odoo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To get started, open the <strong>Purchase<\/strong> module in Odoo. This will bring you to the <strong>Requests for Quotation (RFQ)<\/strong> page. The calculation uses the <strong>Basic Cost<\/strong> and the <strong>Discount Percentage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Unit Value = Basic Cost \u2013 Discount %\n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Example:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Basic Cost: 115<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discount: 20%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Calculation:<br><\/strong>Unit Value = 115 \u2013 20% =<strong> 92<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Total Discount Amount Calculation in a Product<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Odoo also calculates the <strong>Total Discount Amount<\/strong> based on the Basic Cost, Discount %, and Total Quantity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Total Disc Amt = (Basic Cost \u00d7 Discount %) \u00d7 Total Quantity<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Example:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Basic Cost: 115<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discount: 20%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quantity: 10<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Calculation:<\/strong><br>Total Disc Amt = (115 \u00d7 20%) \u00d7 10 = 23 \u00d7 10 <strong>= 230<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Total Discount Calculation in a GR Bill<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019ll also see the Total Discount displayed at the bottom right of the GR Bill screen.
