In the Point of Sale, the cart generally works as follows: the user can add products, change the quantity, modify the product cost, select the customer, and choose the order type. The Order<\/strong> screen displays the net cost, tax amount, total items, and total quantity of the products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding Products to the POS Cart<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Products can be added to the POS Cart in three ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Type the product code(e.g., \/2010058)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Scan the lot barcode<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • scan any of the multi barcode<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Once added, the product appears in the POS Cart automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Product Information Shown in POS Cart<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Product Code of the selected item is displayed in item code<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Product name + Lot\/serial number<\/strong> are show together in item name field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Quantity is set 1 by default when added.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • You can change the quantity before completing the order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Sales Price Display in POS Cart<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Display the sales price of the product for the selected lot in the price field. Reflects the price of one unit of the item. The price<\/strong> shown is the amount the customer will pay for that quantity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Amount Calculation in POS Cart Amount shows the total for the product line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      It is calculated as: Amount = Price * Quantity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Total Items in POS Cart<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      Displays the total number of product lines added to the POS Cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
      Example: If a customer purchased 2 different products. Then Total items<\/strong> will be displayed as 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
      Overall quantity in POS Cart<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      Displays the Total Quantity of all products added in the POS Cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
      Example\n    \u2022 If a Customer purchased:\n    \u2022 [102008126] ALMAS RAMCO AIRFRESHNER-RT -3\n    \u2022 [20102013] ALU ACHU MURUKU -1\n    \u2022 Then Total quantity will be displayed as 4.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
      Net Value in POS Cart<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      Net Value fields shows the taxable portion of the total amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
      Net Value is calculated as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
      Net Value=Total Amount -Tax<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
      Example:\nTotal Amount : 1044.00\nTax :136.38\nNet Value=1044.00 \u2013 136.38 =907.62<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
      Tax in POS Cart<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      • The Tax field displays the total tax amount for all products in the cart.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • It shows the combined tax across multiple products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Even if products have different tax rates, the total tax is correctly calculated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
        Savings in the POS Cart<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        By default, savings are shown as 0 for products. Savings appear when there\u2019s a difference between MRP (Maximum Retail Price) and SP(Selling Price).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
        Savings=MRP-SP.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
        Applies to MRP-based products where SP is lower than MRP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
        Total Amount in POS Cart<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        Shows the total value of all products in the cart. The total is based on the selected quantity and their sales price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
        Total Amount = Sum(Amount).<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
        Example:\nTotal Amount= sum(540+504)\nTotal Amount=1044.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
