In Odoo, the GR Bill (Goods Receipt Bill) is essential for managing the purchasing and accounting workflow.when basic cost and discount are given in GR Bill then values are updated in Product lot according to given values in GR Bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Open the Purchase module, create a new RFQ, complete the PO, and validate the GR. Confirming the GR verifies that the items were received correctly and updates stock levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After validation, click Create GR Bill<\/strong>. If the product\u2019s control policy is On Received Quantities<\/strong>, the bill is generated based on the quantities actually received, and a bill will only be created once part of the order has been successfully received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GR Bill screen shows key vendor and transaction details, including the auto-filled vendor name, the vendor-provided bill number, and fields for Place of Supply and GST Treatment. In this GR Bill, the vendor updates the basic cost to 30<\/strong> and applies a 5%<\/strong> discount, the unit price and bill amount will automatically adjust according to the new values provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

When the vendor updates the pricing on the GR Bill, the system recalculates the unit value based on the new basic cost and discount.For example, the basic cost is updated to 30 and 5% discount is applied, the calculation is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unit Value = Basic Cost \u2013 Discount % \nUnit Value = 30 \u2013 5% \nUnit Value = 30 \u2013 1.5 = 28.5<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
So, the new unit value becomes 28.5<\/strong>, and the GR Bill reflects this updated amount automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
