This feature allows you to sell products even when their stock level is zero or negative<\/strong>, preventing the POS system from blocking sales due to low inventory and ensuring smooth, uninterrupted sales transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Enable <\/strong> Allow POS Negative Qty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the Main Menu, select Inventory<\/strong>, then navigate to Products<\/strong> and click Product Master<\/strong> to view all products. Search for the desired product by name or code, and click on the specific item. In the General Information<\/strong> section, enable the Allow POS Negative Qty<\/strong> checkbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding Products to the POS Cart<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Open the POS system, Products can be added to the POS cart in three ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Type the product code (e.g., \/104339103)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Scan the lot barcode<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Scan any of the multi barcodes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Displaying Lots with Insufficient Stock<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    • Search by product code<\/strong> to display lots with negative or zero quantity on hand.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Scan the lot barcode<\/strong> which as negative or zero on hand quantity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Scan any of the multi barcodes, and lots with negative or zero quantity will be displayed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • All results will show lots with insufficient stock (negative or zero quantity).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Selling Beyond Available Stock<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Enter the required quantity in the POS cart. Even if the on-hand quantity is greater than zero, the system allows you to sell more than the available stock, and sales can still proceed when the on-hand quantity is below zero. This feature enables you to continue selling products beyond the inventory\u2019s current available quantity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Finalizing the Sale in POS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      • Verify the pricing details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Enabling this feature removes the quantity limit warning during the transaction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click Payment Mode<\/strong>, choose the appropriate payment method.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click Validate<\/strong> to complete the transaction, and the bill receipt will be generated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Stock Update<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        The On Hand Quantity<\/strong> is updated automatically after each sale. If the sold quantity exceeds the available stock, the On Hand Quantity<\/strong> becomes negative, accurately reflecting the stock level in the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
