These payments reduce the amount the customer owes to the company and ensure accurate recording in the company\u2019s financial system, supporting proper cash-flow management and accurate balance sheets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They also help ensure timely collection of payments, fostering trust and maintaining strong customer relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Steps to Access Customer Payments<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the <strong>Invoicing<\/strong> module from the Dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>Customers<\/strong> menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Payments<\/strong> to open the customer payments screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>+New<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This screen allows you to <strong>settle the due amounts<\/strong> for credit customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Selecting a Customer for the Payment<\/strong> <strong>Process<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Customer field, either <strong>select a customer<\/strong> from the dropdown list or click the search icon to view all customers in the system<strong>.<\/strong> You can<strong> search for customers<\/strong> by their name, email, mobile number, salesperson, or related company. Open the Customer Screen to <strong>view the customer<\/strong> who has completed the payment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>After the payment is made: <\/strong>The Due Amount is reduced based on the payment amount, reflected in the <strong>Total Receivable <\/strong>field.
