Access the Settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  • Open the Point of Sale module.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Click on the Configurations<\/strong> menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Select Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Choose the specific terminal<\/strong> to configure in the Point of Sale field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Configuring Operation Type<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Specifies how product movements are tracked during sales at the Point of Sale. Select the appropriate Operation Type<\/strong> for your sales flow (e.g., Selling Floor: POS Orders). When a product is sold, it is removed from its assigned storage location in the inventory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Configuring Allow Ship Later<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Enables the ability to sell products now and deliver them later. Enable the checkbox for \u201cAllow Ship Later\u201d<\/strong> to show the Door Delivery<\/strong> option in the POS Terminal. The following fields will become visible for configuration:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Specific Route & Shipping Policy:<\/strong> Define the logistics flow for order fulfillment (e.g., shipping method) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Choose the shipping policy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • As soon as possible:<\/strong> Ships products as soon as they are available (recommended).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • When all products are ready:<\/strong> Delays shipment until all products in the order are available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Configuring Inventory Management<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        In the Inventory Management<\/strong> section, choose between At Session Closing<\/strong> or In Real Time<\/strong> based on your store\u2019s needs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • At Session Closing:<\/strong> Inventory is updated only when the POS session is closed. Ideal for high-volume environments where speed is crucial.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • In Real Time (Accurate but Slower):<\/strong> Inventory is updated immediately as each order is processed, providing more accurate stock levels due to continuous updates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Configuring Barcodes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          In the Barcode Settings<\/strong> section, select your preferred nomenclature:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Default Nomenclature:<\/strong> For basic use (recommended).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Default GS1 Nomenclature:<\/strong> For industry-standard barcode formats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            This allows quick product lookup, customer verification, and easy application of discounts using barcodes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Saving inventory Configuration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            Review all inventory-related settings to ensure accuracy. Once verified, click Save<\/strong> to confirm and store your changes in the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
