To configure the delivery date and expiration date, open the product master in the Inventory module and select the product. Open the Purchase module, and on the dashboard, click the <strong>New<\/strong> button to create a new RFQ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Enter the Basic Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Select the <strong>vendor<\/strong> from the list or search for one. Optionally, enter a vendor reference number. Select the <strong>products<\/strong> and specify their quantities. Based on the product\u2019s <strong>Delivery Lead Time<\/strong>, the <strong>Delivery Date<\/strong> is automatically calculated from the PO Date. The <strong>PO Expiration Date<\/strong> is also automatically set based on the Delivery Date and Delivery Lead Time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the selected products in the PO have different Delivery Lead Times, the system will use the <strong>maximum lead time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Example\n\n    \u2022 Purchase Order Date:03\/12\/2025\n    \u2022 Delivery Lead Time: 6 days\n    \u2022 The Delivery Date will be set 6 days after the PO date.\n    \u2022 Delivery Date= 03\/12\/2025 (PO Date) +  6 days =09\/12\/2025\n    \u2022 The Purchase Order Expiration Date will be set 6 days after the Delivery Date.\n    \u2022 PO Expiration Date = 09\/12\/2025(delivery date) +6 days= 15\/12\/2025<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Delivery Date Constraints<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Delivery Date cannot be earlier than the PO Date (it can be the same or a future date).
