To create a Sales Order<\/strong>, first choose the customer. Once the customer is selected, the Invoice<\/strong> Address<\/strong> and Delivery<\/strong> Address<\/strong> are automatically filled in. These three fields are mandatory. The Payment<\/strong> Terms<\/strong> field is optional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the Order Lines<\/strong> section, click Add a Product<\/strong>. You can add the product using the product code or the lot\/serial barcode. For a lot product, you must select the Lot<\/strong>; otherwise, an invalid operation <\/strong>error will occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Check the product’s on-hand quantity, total value, cost, and average cost. Also, verify the unit price and ensure that the quantity is accurate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once the Sales Order is confirmed<\/strong>, it becomes locked. Click Delivery<\/strong> to view the Delivery Order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Check the product availability. If the product is not available, you cannot proceed with completing the Delivery Order, and a validation error will occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once you change the correct source location, the product availability will show as Available. The Source Document <\/strong>will also display correctly based on the Sales Order number (e.g., S00405<\/em>). You can change the Scheduled Date<\/strong>, but it is not necessary. The Delivery Order ID will be generated automatically. In the Operations<\/strong> tab, you will see the product, quantity, and unit price pulled from the confirmed Sales Order. Once you Validate<\/strong> the Delivery Order, the product will be dispatched and delivered to the customer\u2019s address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once the delivery order is complete, verify the product lot. Before the delivery order, the on-hand quantity was 16. After completing the delivery order, the on-hand quantity is now 15. Based on this change, the total value is updated and calculated as on-hand quantity * cost (15 * 32 = 480)<\/strong>.
