The Lot Barcode appears only if the serial number has an assigned barcode, while the GRN Date shows when the specific serial was received into stock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can add multiple products in a single document and even include the same product multiple times, as long as each entry uses a different serial number. However, if the same product with the same<\/strong> serial number is added more than once, Odoo will display a validation message: \u201c[Product Code + Product Name] Insufficient Quantity To Scrap\u201d<\/strong>, indicating that the serial number cannot be used again because its available quantity has already been recorded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After selecting a serial number, enter the Adjusted Quantity<\/strong>. For serial-tracked products, this must always be 1<\/strong>. Entering a value greater than 1 will trigger the validation message: \u201c[Product Code + Product Name] Insufficient Quantity To Scrap.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Odoo automatically displays the Average Cost<\/strong> for the selected serial number. The Total Value<\/strong> of the scrap wastage is calculated by multiplying the Adjusted Quantity by the product\u2019s cost, ensuring accurate inventory valuation whenever quantities change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once all products and quantities are reviewed, click Validate<\/strong>. After validation, Odoo updates the on-hand quantity, total value, and average cost for each affected serial number.
