Layout Management in Retail POS

Layout management is the feature which is used for user to customise their transaction screen by them self.

Business rules

• There should be the “Layout icon” in POS transaction screen.
• User should click on that icon to find all the transactional screen columns with default order.
• User can now drag or use keys to move columns left of right to place the columns on their requirements.
• User also can resize the column size by dragging or using the keys.
• Also user can enable new predefined columns or hide any columns from the transaction screen.
• Item code and name should not be moved by user, they should be at first.
