Manufacturer master in Retail POS

Manufacturer master is the master where the manufacturer details of each products has been created and maintained. Manufacturer is the person who manufacturing the inventory items.

Business rules

• There is menu called manufacturer master under the purchase module, user should open this screen to create the new manufacturer name.
• To create a new manufacturer, enter the details like manufacturer name, select the status as active and manufacturer code will be auto generated.
• User can create the manufacturer and map them to each product in item master.
• Manufacturer master should have one default manufacturer in master and it’s mapped to all the items. If the user wants to create a new manufacturer, he will create and map to every items.
• While creating the new manufacturer or editing the existing manufacturer, user should selected the outlet names.
• Only on the selected outlets the manufacturers name will be shown for transaction. in other outlet it won’t shown.
