Blanket Sale Order Transaction
Blanket sale order is similar to the Blanket Purchase Order. A Blanket Sale Order represents a long term agreement with the customer.
Batch Size : example would be that the customer orders 10,000 pieces in batch sizes of 1,000 pieces which would be 10 deliveries and the frequency will be set in the application accordingly.
Enter the necessary details as required and then click on Process to complete the transaction. AS we have already seen the detailed transaction while creating the Blanket Purchase order in garden world we will run through the Functionality.
A blanket order may provide the benefit of guaranteeing ongoing business and also help suppliers better predict future cash flows and orders. A blanket order is set at a fixed priced contract for a period of time. The buyer looks for the best pricing among competing supplier bids.
Order Status will be turned as Completed and the Generate Release Button will be active.
Unique Release No will get Auto-Generated by the application and this will act as the Reference No and will be visible in the sale order Release Menu.
