How To Change Price in Odoo QSR POS?

Change price is the screen where user can edit the price details of an items. You can change product prices in Odoo QSR POS during a live session by selecting the order line and using the Price button on the keypad or by setting up Pricelists in the backend configuration.

Business rules

  • Go to “change price” screen in outlet POS application.
  • Select the required items one by one by selection the product or by scan.
  • System will show the existing price details
  • Enter the new cost, new selling and new MRP prices.
  • After entering the new price details click “update” key to update the price.
  • User can load items using category filters which eliminates the need to select items one by one.

HQ price update

When user wants to change the price to all outlet or to one particular outlet, user can change the price from HQ.

  • Go to “change price” screen in HQ
  • Enter all new price details
  • Under outlet details, select the required outlets to change the price.
  • Once outlet selected, click “update” to save the data.
  • Price changes can be scheduled using the “schedule” option.
  • To schedule price change, user need to enter the date and time when the updated prices should reflect in POS.

Import Price

  • Create excel with item code and it’s new price in a columns.
  • Click “import” key and browse the excel and click “update”.
  • Excel data will load with item names.
  • Click “update” to change the price of all items.
