Hide Seconds

This video explains how to simplify the time display in Odoo18 by hiding the seconds, which can create a cleaner and more professional look for your business documents

• Access General Settings: Start by navigating to the Settings module and then click on “General Settings”.
• Manage Languages: Look for the “Languages” section and click on “Manage Languages”.
• Select Your Language: Find and click on the language you are currently using (e.g., English).
• Update Time Format: In the language settings, locate the “Time Format” field.
• Remove Seconds: The video shows the default time format as %H:%M:%S. To hide the seconds, simply remove the :%S part from the format, leaving it as %H:%M.
• Save Changes: Click the “Save” button at the top left to apply the new time format.
• Verify the Results: The video demonstrates the change by navigating to a Sales Order. The “Quotation Date” field now only displays hours and minutes, without the seconds.
• Clean Aesthetics: Removing seconds creates a more concise and professional appearance on invoices, quotations, and other reports.
