Managing products, pricing, discounts and packaging in Odoo Sales becomes much easier when the right settings are enabled. These features help businesses handle product variants, offer flexible pricing, manage bulk sales and monitor profitability more effectively. With the right configuration, you can speed up sales processes, improve order accuracy and enhance customer satisfaction.

Accessing Product Catalog and Pricing Settings in Odoo Sales

To start setting up your configuration, go to the Sales module from the main menu. Then select Configuration and click on Settings. This section allows you to enable different features that help you manage product catalog, pricing rules and packaging based on your business needs.

Configuring Product Variants and Packaging

Under the Product Catalog section in the settings screen, you can manage products with multiple versions using attributes such as size, color, etc,.. Under the Pricing section in Odoo Sales, you can configure tools to manage product pricing, discounts, and customer loyalty. By enabling Discounts, sales teams can apply line-item discounts directly during negotiations, and these discounts appear automatically on quotes and sales orders.

For more advanced promotions, the Discounts, Loyalty & Gift Card feature allows you to create loyalty programs, coupons, gift cards, and e-Wallet options, helping encourage repeat purchases and boost customer engagement.
