How to Search, Filter and Group the Product Wise Sales Report in Odoo POS
The Product-Wise Sales Report in Odoo POS helps you understand how individual products are performing over a specific period. It allows you to track sales trends, compare categories, and study product-level movement in your stores. By using the Search, Quick Search, Filter, and Group By options, you can quickly find the exact information you need.
Opening the Product Wise Sales Report
To view this report, go to the main menu of the Point of Sale module and open the Basic Reports section under Reporting. From there, select the Product Wise Sales Report.
Using Quick Search Options
You can choose a From date and a To date to define the time range you want to analyze. Once the date range is selected, the system automatically displays all product sales that fall within that period, giving you a clear summary of performance. A quick search option is available for brands and company, making it easy to locate sales information for a particular brand and company instantly.

Search Options in the Report
The search bar helps you quickly find the information you need. You can search by product name, product code, or any product variant such as size or color. The search also works for HSN codes, brands, categories, subcategories, departments, and divisions. You can even search by a promotion name if specific offers were applied to products during the selected period.

Applying Filters in the Report
Filters make it easier to narrow down the results. When you click the drop down icon, you’ll see default filters such as Lifestyle, Super Store, and HSN Code.
If you need more specific filtering, you can add custom filters. This allows you to choose from additional fields such as average quantity, brand, and many others. You can select a condition and enter the value you want to match. After adding the filter, the report updates to show only the matching records.

Grouping Sales Data
Grouping helps you organize the report into meaningful sections. In the Group By menu, you can group the sales by company, brand, HSN code, division, department, category, subcategory, product, or tax. Each grouping changes the way the report is presented, allowing you to analyze the data from different angles.
If you need even more grouping options, you can add a custom group and choose from additional fields to organize the report in a way that suits your analysis.
