How to view the Odoo Product Performance Report in POS
The Product Performance Report in Odoo POS helps businesses understand their overall sales growth and how well each product is performing. It shows important details like revenue, quantity sold, customer information, and product categories. With product-based filters and search options, users can easily monitor which items are selling well and how the business is progressing daily.
Access and Navigation
You can view the Product Performance Report by going to Point of Sale → Reporting → Product Performance. This report is usually available only to users with higher-level access, such as the Head Cashier.
Once the screen opens, users can view information like order details, product wise performance, category wise sales, customer wise sales, and much more. The interface is designed to help users quickly understand how products are performing within the POS.

Search, Filter and Group Options
The report provides several tools that make it easy to find the data you need. Filters such as GST Invoices, Retail, Lifestyle, Superstore, Order Date, and Today help narrow down transactions. For example, Today filter displays the current day’s sales.
The Group By feature allows users to organize the report by Company, Product, Brand, HSN Code, Order Date, Tax Percentage, Division, Department, Category, or Subcategory. If the default filters or groupings are not enough, users can add custom filters or custom groups that may not appear in the main list.
The quick search bar makes locating information even easier. Users can search by category, date, brand, or customer.

Fields Displayed in the Report
The Product Performance Report displays detailed product and transaction information. It includes the order date, order number, customer name, product name, product code, HSN code, brand, and the quantity sold. It also shows tax percentage, taxable amount, tax amount, and total amount. Discount details are shown if any discounts were applied during billing.
The report also identifies the order type such as Paid, Posted, or Invoiced, and displays detailed product classifications such as division, department, category, and subcategory. For cost analysis, the total cost of each product is shown along with the company information.

Different Ways to View the Report
The report can be viewed in three formats. The List View shows the data in a table format, with each row representing a transaction and each column showing details like date, quantity, or total amount. The Pivot View helps in summarizing data by arranging it according to different dimensions such as cashier, date, or POS, and allows you to calculate totals and summaries. The Graph View turns the data into visual charts like bars, lines, or pie charts so users can easily understand trends and comparisons.
Export the Report
For further analysis or record-keeping, users can export the report to Excel after applying the required filters or grouping options, then click the Export or Export All button.
