How to Download and Verify the Daily Sales PDF in POS in Odoo

The Daily Sales PDF is a summarized report generated at the end of each business day. It captures all sales transactions completed during that day in a clear, printable format.

It provides a consolidated view of daily revenue and sales activities, helping businesses review performance, monitor sales trends, and ensure the accuracy of recorded transactions. It also serves as an important record for accounting, auditing, and management decision-making.

How to Download Daily Sale Print in POS

Complete all sales in the POS cart. Navigate to the menu and click “Close Session.” A Closing Session pop-up will appear. In the pop-up, click the “Daily Sales” button. The system will automatically download the Daily Sales PDF.

Details are shown in the Daily Sales Printout

• Title: Shows “Denomination”.
• Company Name: Identifies the company.
• GST Tax ID: Displays the company’s GST number.
• Printed Date & Time: The exact date and time when the denomination slip is printed.
• Opening Date: Indicates the Date and Time when the POS session was opened.
• Closing Date: Indicates the Date and Time when the POS session was closed.
• Terminal Name: Specifies the POS terminal used during the session.
• Session ID: Shows the unique session identifier (e.g., POS Session 001).
• Cashier Name: Displays the name of the cashier who handled the session.

Opening Cash Details

Shows the amount of cash available at the start of the session. This amount is based on the denominations entered by the cashier and helps track the opening cash balance accurately.

Cash and Payment Details

Shows the total cash counted by the cashier at the end of the session. It displays the denominations entered during session closing and helps verify and confirm cash amounts for accuracy.

Lists all payments received during the session (cash, UPI, credit card, etc.). It shows the payment amounts for each payment mode entered by the cashier during session closing and displays the total collected amount for the session.
