- The amount paid under each method
For example, the initial payment may show Cash: 2400
Payment Method Update for Paid Orders
The Update Payment Method button appears only when the order status is “Paid.”Clicking this button launches the Payment Method Update Wizard, where all editing takes place.

Initiating the Payment Method Update Process
Inside the wizard, the Record to Update dropdown displays the amounts paid through each payment mode (e.g., 2400 for Cash).
When you select the 3000 amount, the system automatically fills in the:
- Existing Payment Method: Cash
- Actual Amount: 2400

Understanding Actual and Remaining Amounts
- Actual Amount shows the value tied to the selected paymode (e.g., 2400).
- Remaining Amount initially equals the Actual Amount.
- Remaining Amount does not change until you enter new payment amounts.
- If no amount is entered, the Remaining Amount remains unchanged.

Selecting Multiple Payment Methods
In the Payment Method section, click Add a Line to add new paymode.
You can select:
- One paymode
- Or multiple paymode (e.g., Credit card + UPI)
For cash payments, be sure to choose the correct cash terminal option.
Updating Amounts for Each Paymode
Enter the amount you want to assign to each selected paymode.Every time you enter a value, the system automatically recalculates the Remaining Amount.
Formula:
Remaining Amount = Actual Amount – Entered Amount
Remaining Amount Calculation Example
Actual Amount: 2400
Step 1: Enter 1000 under UPI
Remaining Amount becomes 1400
Step 2: Enter 1400 under Credit Card
Remaining Amount becomes 0
This confirms that the full amount has been properly distributed across the selected paymode.

Confirming Payment Updates
Before you finalize, verify that:
- The selected paymodes are correct
- The amounts entered match the intended distribution
When everything is accurate, click Update to save your changes.
Updated Payment Section
After saving, the Payments tab will reflect the revised breakdown.
For example:
- UPI: 1000
- Credit Card: 1400
This confirms the successful update of multiple payment methods for the order.
