Purchase cost – refers to the total expense incurred by a business to acquire goods or services for resale or production. This includes the cost of the goods themselves (product cost), as well as any additional costs involved in getting those goods ready for sale or use.
Sales cost – refers to the expenses associated with selling goods or services. It covers all costs related to promoting, marketing, and distributing products to customers.
Purchase selling price – refers to the price at which a business or retailer buys goods or products from a supplier or manufacturer.
Sales selling price – is the price at which the retailer or business sells the product to the end customer. This is the final price the consumer pays for the product, and it usually includes a markup over the purchase price.
