How to Configure Replication Strategy in iDempiere
The Replication Strategy window defines synchronization rules between central and store databases. It helps keep retail master data and selected business documents consistent across locations.
Process Flow

Business Rules
- Only active strategies are used for replication.
- Search Key must be unique.
- Replication Tables define synchronized tables.
- Replication Documents define synchronized documents.
- Inactive tables are ignored during synchronization.
- Entity Type identifies the owner of the strategy.
Prerequisites
- Tenant configured
- Organization configured
- Replication processor available
- Required tables identified
- Required documents identified

Configuration Steps
Step 1: Create Replication Strategy
Enter Search Key, Name and Description.

Step 2: Enable Strategy
Mark Active and verify Entity Type.
Step 3: Maintain Replication Tables
Add required tables such as AD_Table and AD_Column.
Step 4: Maintain Replication Documents
Configure business documents for synchronization.
Step 5: Save and Test
Save the strategy and verify replication.
Common Issues and Resolutions
