How to Configure the Sales Rep Dashboard in iDempiere
The Sales Rep Dashboard in iDempiere is a consolidated CRM window that brings Leads, Opportunities, and Activities into a single screen for each sales representative.
It directly impacts pipeline visibility, sales forecasting, and conversion reporting, since every logged lead and opportunity feeds the dashboard charts in real time.

Business Rules
- Only Active leads and opportunities are shown on the sales rep’s dashboard.
- Each Opportunity must have a Sales Representative for pipeline reporting to work.
- Probability and Opportunity Amount together calculate the Weighted Amount automatically.
- A Lead is linked to a Business Partner once qualified and moved to Converted status.
- Activities are logged against a Sales Representative, Lead, or Opportunity for follow-up tracking.
- Sales Stage determines where the opportunity value appears in the pipeline chart.
- Campaign assignment on leads and opportunities drives the campaign-wise dashboard chart.
- An Activity marked Complete is removed from the sales rep’s open follow-up list.
Prerequisites
- Sales Representative user configured and linked to a Role with Sales Rep access.
- Business Partner and Partner Location configured for existing retail accounts.
- Marketing Campaign configured, if campaign-based reporting is required.
- Sales Stage and Lead Source reference values configured.
- Organization configured for the retail store, branch, or business unit.

Configuration Steps
Step 1: Assign the Sales Representative
Open the window and confirm the Sales Representative field matches the logged-in user. Each rep should only see their own leads, opportunities, and activities.

Step 2: Capture and Qualify Leads
Go to the Leads Window, enter contact and enquiry details, and set the Lead Source. Update Lead Status as the enquiry progresses toward conversion.

Step 3: Create and Track the Opportunity
Open the Sales Opportunities Window, link the Business Partner, set Sales Stage and Probability, and enter the Opportunity Amount. Weighted Amount calculates automatically.

Step 4: Log Sales Activities
Go to the Activities tab under Lead window, select Activity Type, add a Description, and set the Start Date. Mark Complete once the follow-up is finished.

Step 5: Review Dashboard Charts
Return to the Sales Rep Dashboard Window to view My Sales Pipeline (value by Sales Stage) and My Opportunities by Campaign. Refresh after adding or updating records.
Common Issues and Resolutions
